Less noise. More you.

A reading experience with your name on it.

Independent by naturePowered by RSSYour content, your identityFrom the open web

From your feed
to their home screen.

Feed.nu made it possible to create a native Android app from a blog without writing code. This is the simple workflow that started it all.

01 — ADD YOUR FEED

Bring your own content.

Publish on your blog, then connect its RSS feed. The original service brought your posts into a dedicated app for your readers.

02 — MAKE IT YOURS

Your name. Your look.

Choose your colours, upload your logo and header, and customise the app’s text. Give your publication an identity beyond the browser.

03 — GENERATE YOUR APP

An Android app to share.

The original generator compiled a downloadable APK, ready to distribute yourself or submit to the Android Market.

A small tool.
Stories from
around the world.

Created by Stefan Wärting, feed.nu helped bloggers and publishers put their words in readers’ pockets. Its WordPress plugin lists contributors warting and lilljimpa.

2011

Blog to app, without the coding.

The original homepage laid out five simple steps, from registration to an Android APK. Librarian by Day, Gamekapocs and LinuxCommunity were among the publishers who used feed.nu.

2012

A builder behind the scenes.

Wärting explained that feed.nu used external build servers to compile the apps. The WordPress interface was one part of a larger service.

2015

A dedicated app builder.

By January 2015, the homepage pointed to build.feed.nu: sign in with Google, customise an app, and receive an email when the build was ready.

Same idea.
A fresh start.

We’re bringing feed.nu back, starting with the app generator
and the CMS that powers it. Your content, your identity,
and a simpler way to reach your readers.
